Steve's Jazz Kitchen
Steve's Jazz Kitchen has a lot of elements of a kitchen.
We produce things that are sweet or spicy or meaty, or light-- but it's all
tasty for the ears and nourishing for the soul. There's plenty of variety -
ballads, bossas, blues, swing, funk, 3/4 time, rumbas. But every thing we play
is a jazz classic though many are not heard that much anymore.- every tune has
a great melody, and a beat.
Band Members:
There are many cooks. Steve is always there on sax/flute/clarinet.
The band depends on who is available any given gig.
Chord player:- Bob Sheehan, John Witkowski, Jim Wintermyre or Greg
Keraunen or others on Guitar, Joe Williams or Bill Toby or others on piano.
Bass player- Paul Trigg, Noel Simpson, Bill Baken, Patrick North, Vic Revere, or others
Drummer- Bill Van Bloom, Ron Crocker, Marshall Root, Mike Templeton, or othersWe often have vocalists, or trumpet players added to the mix.
